Synopsis
Imagine the coldest night in history. Snow falls on the city of Edinburgh. At the top of a hill comes little Jack, but his heart is damaged. And so will need to replace it with a wooden clock, an artificial heart which life depends. Accompany Jack on his quixotic adventure from the cold streets of Scotland to a beaming Andalusian city looking for love. But careful, Jack must follow rules for survival:

Now imagine a world that changes at every step and turns with each stroke of storytelling in the hands of the poetic prose of Mathias Malzieu. A very beautiful story, full of metaphors, which gives you extremely to imagine every character, every landscape, every sliver of a wooden heart. Who has not suffered for love? This book will not cure your ills of love, but will help you realize that poor Jack is not very different sentiments to yours, in spite of having a heart-clock wood.
